Over the past two weeks, I have had the pleasure of meeting with several interns (our second year students) and their site mentors. I go into these meetings with just a few questions (e.g. how can we ((the site mentor and me)) help the student complete her or his internship effectively, and what feedback does the site mentor have for me about our intern program). The wonderful thing about these meetings is that our students and their site mentors are clearly connected and the conversation just takes off! I have the terrific experience of hearing from the site mentors directly, as to the good work our students are doing. And I also hear more about what the students have learned about themselves and leadership. Bravo to our interns and their site mentors!
