Back from the snow storm!

Finally, after another week of missed class due to a storm, we were back together this week! Last night was a fantastic class! Students worked individually and then together on an ethics case. We also explored the various lenses that each of us uses and how this shapes our perspective and response.
Next, students worked with three leadership theories -- situational, path-goal, and leader-member exchange. They then applied these theories to a leadership case study. Finally we synthesized the three theories into one super theory to address the case. I drew this on the board as the class members jumped in with ideas as to how their theory could contribute. This was an energizing and rich exercise!
