Well, what a crazy first night of class we had this week. The first meeting of Leadership and Ethics was on Wednesday night -- we were in the midst of a rush-hour snow storm. Four students arrived on time and the rest trickled in over the next hour! Given that this was our first class (students' first class in the program!), this made for an interesting evening! The students were just getting to meet each other (and me!). In that first class, I talk a bit about PRL in general, as well as of course, about my expectations in the class, we go over the syllabus, and do some initial work regarding "what is leadership?" Given the foundational nature of all of this, having students trickle in and knowing that some wouldn't even make it in due to bad roads and traffic, made it a challenging first night for all of us! This certainly called on us to be flexible and adaptive as we begin this PRL journey together.Stay warm everyone!
cheers,
