View from the classroom -- group presentations

This week, students in Leadership and Ethics did group presentations. Each group selected a book from a list of suggested readings and then crafted an interactive presentation, designed to teach their classmates about the central ideas of the book and how these ideas apply to practice.

The presentations were informative and engaging -- students used case studies, self-assessment, role plays, and even the telephone game, to illustrate important concepts from the readings.

Books selected by the students were:

This evening of group presentations was rich and stimulating, not only because of the strength of each group's presentation, but also because of the way that each presentation reinforced the other. Students were able to see powerful links between the books particularly around topics like trust, authenticity, and the importance of listening.

Until next time,
